Photo Roll
This page acts as a storage area for every module, containing the pictures I took to go along with the audio content produced in each section. Please feel free to click on each image and read the captions that go with it to see why I selected each one.

Module One
Module 1 looks at the intricacy of what is home. I interviewed a long-time friend Steve Frodsham about the topic of home and found out his home was his cottage. This audio portrait identifies that home is more than just a place it is the memory, feeling and the company you have that is intertwined with a geographical location. I have accompanied this audio portrait with a few photos I took of my friend's cottage. The photo techniques used in this module are the rule of thirds, prominent object, depth of field and decisive moment.
Module Two
Module 2 delves into the complexity of soundscapes and the experience of immersing oneself in a specific location. I revisited Mooney's Bay, where I previously trained for Canoe/Kayak with Team Canada. Four years after stepping away from the sport, I returned to Mooney's Bay, deliberately choosing to reimmerse myself in the familiarity of this environment. Accompanying this module are pictures I captured during my time at Rideau Canoe Club while recording for this soundscape. In this module, we used photography techniques such as patterns and shapes, textures, leading lines, and balance to craft visually engaging and compelling images.

Module Three
In module 3 we focused on placing identity in a geographical location. We traversed this topic through an audio documentary where I peeled back the layers of my identity in Ottawa. In this documentary, I reminisce about my journey transitioning from a full-time athlete to a full-time student, delving into the experiences that unfolded in between these two distinct phases of my life. As part of our exploration, we delved into various photography techniques, including lead room, internal frame, and perspective. In this section, I have put together some photos that follow these photographic techniques.
